About the role
As Manager Warehouse, you will serve as the primary operational leader responsible for maximizing facility throughput, space utilization, and service accuracy. You will combine high-level strategic planning—such as managing financial budgets, analyzing monthly KPI performance, and collaborating on client SLAs—with hands-on floor oversight, team development, vendor/cross-departmental coordination, and rigorous QSHE safety compliance.
What you will do
- Inbound, Outbound & Facility Operations: Initiate, coordinate, and enforce operational, program, and personnel policies across receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and dispatch workflows.
- Team Leadership & Performance Management: Schedule, assign, and follow up on employee work results; recruit, orient, train, coach, and evaluate warehouse staff performance.
- Loss Prevention & Security Protocols: Safeguard warehouse operations, stock, and physical assets by establishing strict security protocols and creating anti-theft initiatives to reduce inventory loss.
- Process Optimization & Strategy: Analyze operational workflows and performance indicators, recommending and executing process improvement strategies to maximize business reach and productivity.
- Financial Budgeting & SLA Compliance: Prepare annual operational budgets, track expenditures, analyze variance, and ensure full compliance with client SLAs, federal/local material handling laws, and regulatory guidelines.
- KPI Analytics & Executive Reporting: Track and analyze monthly logistics KPIs, deriving actionable strategies to meet performance goals and supporting new customer SLA setups with senior leadership.
- Facility Maintenance & Inter-Departmental Alignment: Maintain the physical condition of the warehouse by issuing repair orders, requisitioning maintenance, and coordinating with all department heads.
- QSHE & Product Safety Integration: Preserve safe work systems, protect facility and product quality, report hazardous acts or conditions immediately, and ensure strict compliance with QSHE policies.
What we are looking for
- Education: Graduation, Master’s degree, or equivalent in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, or a related field.
- Experience: 5 to 7 years of progressive leadership experience in warehouse management, 3PL distribution, or large-scale logistics hub operations.
- Core Competencies: Exceptional leadership, communication, strategic thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, time management, negotiation, and client service orientation.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP applications, KPI reporting, and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
Nice to have
- Proven track record managing multi-client 3PL facilities or ambient/cold chain warehousing operations.
- Experience in contract negotiation, client SLA drafting, and annual budget management.
