What happens to your CV

The CV you upload, and the name, email address and phone number you confirm on the form. If you write a note, we keep that too.

We also record when you applied and a one-way hashed form of your IP address. The hash lets us spot automated abuse; it cannot be turned back into your address.

Your CV is read by automated software, which produces a structured summary: your contact details, how long you have worked, the industries and employers on your CV, your education, your skills, and which of our roles you look closest to.

This is done so that our application form can be three fields instead of twenty. The extracted summary is stored alongside your application and is what our recruitment team searches and filters on.

The reading is automated. The decision is not — no application is rejected, shortlisted or ranked automatically, and every CV is reviewed by a member of our recruitment team before anything happens to it.

The file itself is kept in Connect Logistics’ own secure business storage, not on the careers website. Access is limited to the recruitment team and to the specific managers a CV is routed to.

Where we use outside service providers to read or store CVs, they work only on our behalf and may not use your CV for their own purposes.

Our recruitment team, and the hiring manager or department head for the role you applied to. If your CV looks like a better fit for a different team, we may route it to that team — that is the main reason we read CVs the way we do.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with other employers or recruitment agencies.

We keep your CV and the details read from it on file, so we can consider you for roles that open later — including ones you did not apply for.

You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, or ask us to correct anything that is wrong. Write to careers@connectlogistics.pk and we will respond within thirty days.
