About the role

As our Store Officer, you will ensure smooth dock and warehouse floor operations. You will play a key role in physical stock counting, pallet tagging, pick-list execution, and transport documentation handovers, ensuring 100% accuracy between physical inventory and system records (WMS/SAP).

What you will do

  • Inbound & Receiving: Receive transport documents from drivers, submit them to the inventory team, dock in vehicles, and initiate offloading.
  • Physical Verification & Stacking: Perform physical stock counts, quality checks, and batch/expiry verification. Report any short, excess, damaged, or interchanged items while maintaining standard stacking heights and applying accurate location tags to pallets.
  • Put-Away Execution: Record discrepancies for driver acknowledgment. Verify offloaded stock, execute physical put-away into assigned locations matching pallet stickers and WMS/SAP data, and submit signed documents to inventory.
  • Outbound & Dispatch: Receive pick lists and dispatch plans, dock in outbound vehicles, paste customer location tags on docks to avoid mix-ups, and conduct vehicle safety/hygiene inspections prior to loading.
  • Picking & Bucket Loading: Execute system-generated pick lists, pick stock from designated locations, and build accurate customer loading buckets. Recheck stock with supervisors against dispatch sheets to ensure no mixed, interchanged, or expired stock is loaded.
  • Documentation & Dock-Out: Submit completed loading paperwork to inventory for invoice/gate pass processing, hand over final documents to transport supervisors, and execute vehicle dock-out.
  • QSHE & Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to facility QSHE rules, maintain a safe working environment, and immediately report any hazardous conditions or unsafe acts. Perform additional operational tasks assigned by management.

What we are looking for

  • Education: Matriculation or Intermediate (FA/FSc/I.Com).
  • Experience: Fresh to 2 years of relevant experience in warehouse store operations or inbound/outbound logistics.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of warehouse receiving, picking, put-away, and storage procedures.
  • Systems & Equipment: Basic knowledge of ERP/WMS systems and familiarity with Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
